No reservations are required for dining. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot host events or reserve tables for large groups during business hours. Large groups can pick up catering orders or schedule a delivery.

Visit us online and schedule a pick-up time! When your order is ready, skip the line, pick it up at the counter, and take it To-Go! By the way, all online orders must be eaten off-premises.

Our To-Go means just that. We want to be fair and thoughtful of our guests who have been waiting in line and prefer to operate with a “do unto others” “Please! No cutting in line!”

For special events and large delivery orders of 25 individuals or more, with a minimum order requirement of $300, please contact our catering team via email at info@barnbirdkitchen.com. While we cannot guarantee acceptance of all orders, our team will respond to confirm your request or to obtain further information and pre-payment as needed.

It is recommended to place large delivery orders and catering requests at least 72 hours in advance. Please note that delivery to locations outside of Maplewood is dependent on staffing availability. For inquiries, kindly email us at info@barnbirdkitchen.com.

Catering orders for pick-up can be placed with a store at least 24 hours in advance. Our phone lines open at 10 a.m. and might be throttled at times during high demand. We are closed on Monday’s and on major holidays New Year’s Day, Easter Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, with half days (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Sadly, it would be in your best interest not to have any of our Chicken. The risk of cross-contamination is too great. Our spice blends, even products that we use that say “spices” are a risk for your allergy because they may contain garlic or onion powder.

We have a $300 food and beverage minimum on deliveries before taxes, delivery fee, and gratuity. This typically accommodates 20 to 25 people.

Smaller orders can be placed at the store in person or online.

Orders for less than 20 people, or under $300, can be placed with our restaurant with at least 4-6 hours’ notice, please email or call to see if we have faster availability. Restaurant phone lines open at 10 a.m. in advance of our 11a.m. opening. Thank you for being so patient as we experience high volumes throughout the day. If you cannot get through, please email info@barnbirdkitchen.com. While we cannot always guarantee orders will be accepted, the team will contact you to confirm or request more information.

Smaller orders can be placed either in person at the store or through our online platform.

For orders involving fewer than 20 individuals or totaling under $300, we kindly request that you submit your request to our restaurant at least 24 hours in advance. Our phone lines open at 7 a.m., just prior to our 8 a.m. opening. We appreciate your understanding as we manage a high volume of requests throughout the day. If you are unable to reach us by phone, please feel free to email info@barnbirdkitchen.com. While we cannot guarantee acceptance of all orders, our team will contact you to confirm your order or to request further information as needed.

Delivery fees range from $20 to $50 depending on how far the location is from our Maplewood Village Kitchen. There is a $25 delivery fee for all deliveries within a 10-mile radius of our Maplewood Village Kitchen located at 147 Maplewood Avenue, Maplewood, NJ. Locations outside this radius can be discussed with an event coordinator. If you prefer to pick-up at the Catering Kitchen, the delivery fee will be waived.

Aluminum pans.

Your food will be delivered in disposable containers. Chicken, sides and desserts will be served in standard aluminum pans.

Yes! We are happy to offer multiple heat levels.

Yes. The menu includes all paper goods—heavy-duty plastic plates, napkins, cups. We also include disposable serving tongs and spoons. We do not include paper products with à la carte orders, but full sets can be added for $1 per person. Tongs and serving spoons are included with à la carte orders. We do not provide ice with any deliveries

While our delivery team will assist in setting up a buffet, we do not provide staff to assist in serving for drop-off deliveries.

We cannot guarantee peanuts have not been used at our vendor facilities. An event coordinator can provide a full allergen list upon request.

The service fee covers all administrative and planning services, standard catering equipment, and liability insurance and is applied to all food, beverage, and rental sales.

We require at least two weeks’ notice for all special events and recommend booking sooner rather than later as we cannot always guarantee availability.

We bring silver chafing sets, beverage urns, and miscellaneous serving containers, and we can include tables and linens for the buffet line. If you prefer alternative catering equipment, our event planner can coordinate substitute rental options for an additional fee.
